Which AMP?

OK Folks, its time to help the newbie.

I was planning to purchase one of the ELTAX STARGATE X.1 speakers. But then i saw these Teac LS.12, which would you folks buy.


Now down to amps.

I was looking at the Kenwood KRFV5050 amp as a potential purchase.

I got £200 absoulute tops to spend on amp and cables. Any suggestions an what amp would be best for DTS and Music would be appreciated.

I think the stargate set comes with some cheap speaker cable included m8. It won't be great, but if your on a tight budget, it could help. The 5050 is a well regarded budget amp, good at DTS, but musically a bit weak (as are most budget amps to be honest). My m8 has the Sherwood RD6106 from Richers (£200) and thinks it's the Dogs Dangley bits for DTS.

I think i'll go for the Eltax and Kenwood 5050.
