View Full Version : 'Mission CINEMA72BEE' Any good?
I don't really know that much about speakers as i have just upgraded from a 'All In One' type Hi-Fi but have been reading some reviews and these seem pretty good for the money i think.
You get two 'M72' Loud Speakers and the surrond speakers as well for £342.91 is this a good price?
Also are they good for Music as well? I'am going to be using them with a Martez 4200 Amp. Thanks, Rizel
Do you mean the M72 Cinema? If so then I would say that the price is about right. I have a pair of M73s (M72s but floorstanding). They are a nice speaker and will do your music justice for the price too. I picked mine up for a whisker under 140, so I would expect the M72s to be had for around 110-120 a pair.
The surrounds you get are dipoles suited to cinema surround and are around the 130 mark I think at the moment, or the older series at 100 from richer. That makes a total of about 250 I think.
Then the centre, which is the m7c1 is about 80-90 at the mo, so a grand total of 340 if you bought seperate I figure, so about right.
I would say that unless you wanted to go up to the M73s, the rears and fronts are top notch for the cash. However, the centre is meant to be a bit weak and I went for a Tannoy MXC to go with my M73s instead. I didn't audition the m7c1 as it had a bad rep and the Tannoy was better on paper and cheaper into the bargain to start with.
You may do better therefore to pick and mix.
