doesn;'t it depend which one it is, some are 11-5 or 10.30-4.30, depends on the town centre its in

The webiste is unhelpful

http://www.tesco.com/storelocator/ (http://tracker.tradedoubler.com/pan/TrackerServlet?p=898&a=60823&g=19972&url=http://www.tesco.com/storelocator/)

as it does not give store hours or even a phone number to check, you;d have to use yell or something like that.

This is correct: in Cambridge one store is open 10-4 and the other 11-5.

Open 24 hours here (Dunfemline).

Not 24 hours on a Sunday, only 6 hours trading. Just give your local store a call

Are English stores restricted to certain opening times on a Sunday?

Yeah, the Newmarket Road one is 11-5 - went there this morning at 10:30 though and they were letting people do their shop, just not letting them pay until 11.

Yes, English stores are limited to 6 hours trading (hence some 10-4, some 11-5, etc).
Scottish stores can trade 24 hours..

Yes, one of the things I miss about Scotland (also later pub closing time and haggis suppers!).

Wish I'd read this thread before I found myself driving around an empty and closed 24 hour Tesco at 4 am Monday Morning (don't ask).

I thought Tesco would prevent the car park from being used while it was closed , but saw a couple of HGV's parked across about 15 empty bays while the drivers had a crafty kip.
