Help with Pioneer 530 please

I bought a Pioneer 530 a fair few months ago and I have two queries:

Its region free and has never refused a disc before - but it will not play
Sea of Love R2, stating 'Wrong region' - can I manually change the region? (I lost the instructions sorry :()

What is the conditioned memory button for? my son has turned it on, I dont know what it is and cant turn it off :(

Sea of love is the ONLY R2 "RCE" disk that I know of and causes problems with a good few mods ...

depending on your mod you will be able to switch regions .... try doing this ....

Turn on the player

Press Setup

Select General and then Basic ( make sure basic is highlighted green)

Press Display

Press Condition

Press 1 for Region 1 or 2 for region 2 etc

Leave the Menu with the Setup Button

If this doesnt work then you need a better mod or simply get this disk from another region

or start playing another r2 (non rce) disk making the player r2, then pop sea of love in. It works for some on other rce disks on pioneers. Might depend on the mod though.

ahhh... Condition memory, this has caused me headaches before as well, I think it remembers the playback settings for a particular disk you have played and removed (e.g. sound/sub selection) or something like that. You can disable it by pressing the 'Condition Memory' button followed by 'Clear'.
