Oooh.
Another of those CSI eps which you wish would be continued next week, but sadly won't be.
What was with the mad 'I love cops' geezer?
Was it the kid or dad throwing explosives down the drain to dislodge the body?
What was with the Warwick/Catherine [i]moment[/]?
And the ending :cuckoo:. It made the ending to Lost ep 3 seem 100% unfreaky. Just what is the story with Sara Sidle?
[speculation]
Was she abused as a child? Raped by someone? Her family are dead? :?:

No need to spoiler tag that - it's only speculation.
But I think she may have been abused/raped once before. There's a previous episode where she identifies very strongly with a rape victim, and the show seemed to be hinting at some past encounter.
Plus with her watching the video tonight (Blowing up frogs!), it seems like they're slowly dropping hints.
I agree though, a lot of unanswered questions tonight.
What was with the mad 'I love cops' geezer?
possibly he was there just to point them in the right direction/as a red herring to make you think 'he's a bit weird he probably did it'
What was with the Warwick/Catherine moment?
I know, very strange, didn't see that one coming somehow.
what i don't get is how did they actually prove who the body was? No DNA and they made no mention of dental evidence or any sort of positive identification. All they could say for sure is that something happened in the house.

They matched the DNA from his tooth to the blood in the house, so they knew he'd been in the area. I don't think it was physically proven, but once that kid 'fessed up nothing else needed to be done.
I suppose but you'd think they would have needed some sort of positive ID for the remains, otherwise once they got a lawyer they could say that he was injured but ran off.
