My cousin has a spare broadband modem - it's an Alcatel 330, but the box & disc that come with it say Wanadoo; can it only be used with Wanadoo or is that just packaging?

Its just packaging, you can use it with any ISP.

Best to get the drivers from Alcatels website, the package on the CD will no doubt be full of Freeserve branded things :(

Can be used for anything mate, just try and track down the basic drivers for it instead of installing all the Wanadoo junk off the cd as well. I got my old man a BT USB modem for his broadband and hes with Nildram...

One more question - there are drivers listed here - http://www.speedtouchdsl.com/support.htm

Is it just a case of downloading the Driver Upgrade for Win listed under Speedtouch 330?
