Any ideas what that means? I've got a friend whose running Windows ME and he started getting that message about 2 days ago (for no good reason). It comes on startup.
Other strange things he is getting is that his wallpaper (a black and white pic) has become like a negative and he cannot alter his screen resolution to 800x600, it asks to be restarted and the same thing happens. Any ideas?
Also, he sometimes gets "Rundll32 caused an error in MMSYSTEM.dll".
I've asked him to get Norton Antivirus 2004 and scan his pc.
