My Family Guy Season 1 (http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/index.cgi?page=Review&id=374&story=2367) review at DVDTimes.
It all comes down to whether or not you like it really unless of course you've never seen it in which case go for it cos like you say its great value for money and should be easy enough to trade on.

I reckon its one of the best things shown on Sky for ages. Very funny. Recommended.
its class the only problem is there are no extras but 14 episodes on 2 disc for £25
I love it when they look at other tv and films like Star Trek, Willy Wonka and Sesame Street
Burt and Ernie bit:p
from memory...
Captain Kirk: (jumping around wildly!) The away team will consist of myself, Spock, Doctor McCoy and Ensen Rickie.
Ensen Rickie: (Sarcastic look & tone) ah crap!
:D

"Light. Growing. Dimmer. Can't. Breathe. Beam. Me. Up. God."
As far as the set is concerned - no extras, but 14 excellent episodes of FG, with good picture quality and sound. It's Family Guy - of course it's worth the money! ;)
"Hey barkeep! Who's leg do I have to hump to get a dry martini around here?"
I take it they are uncut too, unlike what sky one show.
yup, uncut as well (fox proudly state this on the front cover)
dave.
it says on the box UNcut, UNpc and UNsuitable for kids
i love the Philidephia cinema bit
Peter "Hey i know who that is it that guy from big Tom Hanks, Funny Guy every he says is a stitch"
Tom Hanks "i have Aids"
Peter "Laughing"
I agree - this is WELL worth buying. I'd seen it on TV fleetingly and liked the look of it, like Farscape, so made an investment that more than pays off. For your £20, or so, you get around five hours of some of the best animated comedy to come out of America since The Simpsons. That's good value in anyone's books! While a few jokes are not funny, and there are a few references to shows and products that we don't get it the UK, there's plenty to laugh at. Be warned - it certainly IS non-PC.
Favourite line so far? "Shake me like a british nanny!"
