I thought the only difference between the two were that R1 had 4.3 and 16.9 versions where R2 only has 4.3. However after looking at play it seems they have different extras. Are the discs much different, which would u all recommend?

...which is out-of-sync on my miserable player :( But it definitely sounds more detailed than the DD 5.1 track (check out the princess rescue sequence!)

Personally I'm not getting it. I thought Shrek was quite naff.

...alternatively you could go for R4 - I got it for around a tenner. But then there are MANY bargains to be had from the land down under - just got through Close Encounters 2-disc set for £9 including postage from Oz!! Beat that...!:clap:

Dammit - after seeing the film on Sunday was going to go and get the R1 version....but my darling girlfriend went and got the R2 version for me as an early Xmas pressie :(

Nevermind.....same film in the end I suppose :rolleyes:

The r4 disc from Devoted is just one disc. What am I losing out on and does it really matter?
