Lidl have these micro-fibre cloths in, £1.99 for 2.
These are superb for cleaning delicate equipment like screens/plasmas without damaging. They will clean without the use of liquids.
They also have a universal pack of 3 available. These are identical to what Panasonic ship with their high end screens and they charge you about £15 for one !
Are these cloths ok for cleaning TV and monitor screens or can they damge the screen with the microfibre?

Monitors, screens no problem. The microfibre ones absolutely no problem.
The universal ones have a special coating that will clean off finger prints grease marks without the use of liquid or detergent. As I say it's the cloth that Panasonic ship with their delicate plastic screens where they suggest no detergents or any other type of cloth. Will not mark, buff, swirl or scratch plastic screens.
A tissue is like sandpaper in comparison to these things.

they also sell these in poundland (Yes for a quid) but in packs of 1
Tescos also sell them for 79p each too.
So are we saying that these are ok for LCD's?
i think if they dont scratch peoples glasses there gonna be fine for LCD's

I use microfibre cloth on my TFT monitor. I wouldnt use anything else on my baby :) Its fine for my glasses as well as the monitor.
Besides the missus would kill me if I scratched all the screen the bugger cost me £700 or so :/ wouldn't be without it though :)

I'm sure similar cloths exist in Poundland and Tesco's.
However as I say I have never seen anything identical to the Panasonic stuff available anywhere else. ;)
Also good for cleaning guitars, particularly high end ones in nitro cellulose.
Picked up a Vidella micro fibre cloth in Sainsburys last week for £2.99, so this sounds like a good deal.
Poundland sell the Vidella branded ones but most of these are identical anyway. I usually get the ones from Aldi which come in a range of colours for 99p, use them for cleaning the car and bike mainly.
