When I play any sounds from my pc it sounds very echoey and muffled - this has only happended within the last month or so?? Have tried troubleshooting sound card etc & Windows XP but to no avail?? any advice would be very much appreciated

duff speakers?
nope deffo that speakers are ok
the sounds all weirded out on the headphones to
sounds like a dragged out echo effect

check you dont have any 3d effects on as this will make it sound crap.
Have you tried reinstalling the drivers? Best to check for latest and download them.
