HELP :: Disappearing Taskbars >: (

Forgive me for being n00bish but can anyone help me with my dilemma?! : I have recently bought 2 new laptops and i use AOL (Rubbish!) but on the my work one when i use aol or MSN Explorer i can see the taskbar but on my newer one the taskbar dissapears. This is really annoying and ther is probably a really simle and obvious answer, but could you help?!

right click on an empty area of the taskbar and select properties. Ensure 'Auto-Hide the taskbar' is unchecked and 'Keep the taskbar on top of other windows' is checked.
You may also want to check 'Lock the taskbar' so it can't be dragged to the side of the screen.
To get the taskbar to appear move your mouse pointer to the bottom of the screen and it should appear.

Ahhhh! See! i knew that ther was a simple answer! i was looking in the taskbar properties for ages but i couldnt find anything!
