Asda's covered with signs advertising their price promise.

Basically, any original advertising material for a UK store, and they'll match it.

No internet prices, no photocopies, no buying vouchers etc.
Worth doing for limited availability offers I reckon.

The best thing is that you don't need to wait for management aprove the price match. You just hand over the ad at the checkout with the item.
Since you are usually only dealing with checkout opperators you can sometimes get them to admatch internet only adverts (i.e. Play ads in magazines) but don't be suprised if you are refused.

My biggest problem with admatch was I was told when it was introduced that I couldn't use my staff discount (10%) and admatch at the same time, so it wasn't usually in my favour. Just found out that this is false and my store management had purposely lied to its staff to stop us using admatch (admatch affects store profit, staff discount doesn't)
