I've learned a lot from this forum so far so fingers crossed for my first post!
I'm wanting to buy a DVD setup for our flat. The room's 13' x 13' with seating on two adjacent sides and the telly in the opposite corner.
I'm kind of leaning toward the Pioneer 444 after reading reviews and opinions, but I can't get anywhere with speakers and amps.
I was pointed toward Energy Take 5 speakers, but even the glowing What HiFi review points out their defficiencies as purely music speakers. CD playback is as important to us as funky movie sound, and the flat's too small for two sets of speakers.
Any suggestions? Budget around £1000 for everything.
