I noticed some cheap items on 7Day Shop (http://www.awin1.com/awclick.php?mid=530&gid=6083&id=30372) are now advertized as vat free due to their small value.

All well and good. but what happens if you multiple buy in 1 order over this limit ?

Say 1 memory card was just under the limit. great.

But a couple of mates want them too....

Will you have to do 3 orders with 3 postage costs, or can you do 1 order with 3 items and 1 lot of postage and still miss the vat ?

you pay one lot of postage but they split it into as many packages as necessary to keep each one under the limit. It says so on the site somewhere. Invariably they arrive all bundled together with elastic bands but it seems fine! 7dayshop are really good for this.

Only if you buy some single item which is over the limit (like a £70 memory card) are do they charge you VAT.

Many thanks for that.....
Just what I wanted to hear.

I'm after a memory card & my mate today said he may like one also. I'll need a card reader too. On their own they will be below the vat price line, but combined they will be over.

Glad it's done the sensible way.
