This Video/DVD is not available to rent at Global Video and my local video store. I was very disappointed that a big video company does not stock this film as it has got some great actors in it and its a good film. Global advertised it.
I phoned the head office and after long time on the phone they said no. Global only offered ginger snap and a couple of crappie films that week in favour of The Contender !! This is crap Global Video !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I picked this up on R1 when it came out early in the year basically on the strength of Gary Oldman getting back in the acting sadle.

Very good film with (as you say) an exceptional cast. It amazes me how gems like this get totally ignored in media feeding frenzies for over-hyped turds.

I hired the Contender last night. Good film but I thought the picture was very grainy.
