It seems that some time in the past I have asked IE to always open zip files rather than save them to disk. This wouldn't be too bad a problem except for the fact that winzip seems unable to open zip file in my temp internet folder.
Now I've been getting around this by right clicking the links and choosing save but I'm struggling to downlaod something that redirects.

Anyone know how I can change zip's to save to disk again?

Thanks.

Use a download program (Like DAP) as your default download client and set it to save downloaded files to your desktop ??

Thanks. That looks like the problem!

As for the other suggestions, this is on a woek computer and our 'net connection is quick enough that I've never needed a download manager. As for firefox, I still don't see the point in it.

That fixed it thanks!
