Anybody bought this says widescreen on the box but when you play it it's full screen! Anybody else had this problem?

Full screen? Not according to here (http://www.dvddebate.com/article.php?sid=2353). That's a bit odd mate. It's not got the film on both sides? Is your DVD set up correctly?
I had the <u>far</u> superior Region 1 (http://www.dvdfile.com/software/review/dvd-video_3/cannonballrun.html) transfer.
Take/send it back mate if it's not what it says on the box.

I have a feeling you've got your DVD stuck in P&S mode.

Spot on mate. Does that mean my dvd player will stretch the picture when in 4:3 pan and scan mode?

Exactly as it is described - the DVD player simply zooms in on the picture.

Only if the disc accepts it, which very few do (except HKL titles).
Its best to have your player left in 4:3 WS if your using a 4:3 TV set.

Yep, my review is of the Medusa (HKL's sister company) disc .
I loved this film, so I might go and order it.
Where is it cheap!
