I'm looking for a couple of sleeping mats for camping.
Been told that self-inflating mats like therma rest ones are good as they are samll for packing but comfy to sleep on.
Does anyone know the best place to get these?

Most of the "proper" outdoor stores stock thermarest so there should be somewhere near you that has them. Else do a search on the web and try and find the best price.... they are not cheap... but they are good.
I have seen a few cheaper brands in some of the outdoor shops but don't know what they are like, I've had my Thermarest mat for over 15 years down and it's still going strong, although it doesn't get too many outings nowadays ;) .
A couple of reputable suppliers to get you going..

In the Cotswold store they're listed as Cascade for some reason although the text says they are Thermarest :?:
Good luck with your search.
I'm looking for a thermarest mat too and spookly enough I started a thread here a couple of days ago too .. :suspect:
Anyway, I'm interested in the ProLite 3 Regular and I found this site were the cheapest at £49.99:

There's free delivery if you spend over £50.
Ps You could try one of these http://www.balloonbed.co.uk/ :D
