Some Oz Region 4 discs are duo Region ie 2 and 4.

I don't think there's 100s though. I'm sure you'll find more details if you look at www.michaeldvd.com.au

:D Do you guys have normal DVD players in Australia?

What the hell are you doing with that prime minister BTW

He's bloody terrible.

Make sure you vote cos the fine could pay for a couple of DVDs :D

Well, they're squarish, flattish, they sometimes open so you can put a disc in...but they run on cold beer, mate, so they can cost a lot to keep using....

Yes, I'm sorry about him...he reminds me uncomfortably of Mr Major. But it's election night here, the polls have closed across the country, and even though the Western Australian booths closed barely an hour ago, the TV pundits and Howard's cronies are already all but giving the result to him again.
:(

So, no fine, and a few more DVDs to be sure, but perhaps the same old b*ll**ks.

:(

And I can now confirm that he's back until 2004, with an increased majority!!!
(Further response unprintable)

People get who they deserve :)

I was personally ashamed at how your country treated those boat people but at the end of the day that's democracy

Has this thread went off on a tangent? :D

You're ashamed?! Imagine living here....

back on topic: as already stated many discs are duel coded R2 and R4. In the reviews on Michael D's site it states what the encoding is for eeach disc. Just look up the ones you're interested in and find out if they are R2 encoded.

Hi

This does`nt always work, i checked out michaelsdvd site for JFK directors cut for a friend it says it is both region 4 & 2 but when it came it quite clearly states only region 4. When he tried it on his region 2 only ( i know sad isn`t it i told him where to get multi region from ( Upgrade Heaven ) but would he listen) it played perfectly.
