View Full Version : James Bond Boxset
I'm thinking of buying the boxset tomorrow from Manchester Hight Street and wondering is it available at the High street or just more specialist retailers ( i mean at £299) it's not going to be heavily stocked if at all)
Also is it any good I like Bond movies personally but what sort of extra's is there (if any)
Thanks

I have got about ten of the R2 Bond DVDs. Each has an audio commentary (though many of the earlier ones are edited together from various interviews and are rather patchy). You also always get trailers and TV spots and a documentary about the making of the film (this is generally excellent and informative). The rest should be a nice surprise. You get some surprising treats on them sometimes.
MVC are selling this at £199.99 !!
This is members price (but it doesn't cost to become a member and only takes 2 minutes) :)

Are you talking about www.mvc.co.uk ? If so it’s £249. Where are you getting £199?
Anyone know if the cuts and snips from the BBFC on Tomorrow Never Dies and Licensed To Kill are revoked?
The bond Extras are superb and the quality of the presentation for Each bond is worth it's wait in gold (Finger).
This is one set you won't regret buying, never say never again and buy this set for the world is not enough without this bond set.
"AAHH, Mr Bond I've been Expecting You!"- Alan Partridge!
Just bought it from Virgin Megastores (paid full whack £299) but just wanted it straightaway! Bloody heavy carrying it around Manchester Though LOL:nuts:
It's 239.99 in MVC's high street stores - cheaper than on it's web site!!!!!
MVC in Romford had it priced at £199.99. I thought this must have been a mistake as I had only just seen it for £299.99 in HMV! Checked it with them and they told me "Yes, that's the correct price"
Tempted.:)
