I have an Active Matrix 15" NEC Multisync LCD 1525M monitor with the following features:

Pixel pitch - 0.297 x 0.297mm
16.77 million colours
Optimum resolution 1024 x 768
Weight - 4.5kg
Built in 2 x 1w speakers
Headphone jack
Active USB hub - 2 x upstream, 4 x downstream
Automatic setup / on screen display
Input connectors - mini D-sub 15 pin, analog VGA input

It's in brilliant condition - no dead pixels and no marks on the screen or the casing. I'd like to sell it and upgrade to a 17" monitor, but I am not sure how much its worth.

How much would you pay? There are some reviews below:

Details from the NEC website (http://www.nec-mitsubishi.com/coremedia/generator/index,realm=Service__ProductSupport__Choice__Details,spec=x__uk__en,docId=46846)

Thanks. :)

Based on the facts that you can nowadays buy new budget 17" TFT's for around £200 and that yours is over 5 years old [on sale] and obsolete, I would say you would be lucky to get around £75-£100.

It may have been relatively expensive when you bought it but as you know technology moves on in leaps and bounds.

Personally I would not consider anything, either CRT or TFT, less than 17" anyway.

I note no response time quoted and would assume it would be fairly high thus relegating it to very basic office/web browsing use only.

Im not sure what the response time is, but I have played DVD's and games on it without any problems.
