Do sky put a telephone extension in the 2nd room or is the 2nd box fed off the original line connection?

Do sky put a telephone extension in the 2nd room or is the 2nd box fed off the original line connection?the difference being????? both have to have a cable.

I guess what youre asking is do sky cable it, or do you have to?

Yes sky put it in. They put my 1st cable in. As the 2nd box is right below the 1st one, I just ran a splitter so they didn't do anything, but would have if it was in a different room.

Well we bought an extension kit from argos with a real phone socket on it (fixes to the wall)

And the guy came this morning and couldn't install our stuff as we didn't have an ADSL microfilter, so I would phone them and ask them if you have any queries mate, better to be safe than sorry :(

Reading further into it that is correct mate, but the sky engineer we had round earlier seemed to think different. We're on ntl cable net
