Toshiba DVD - Dodgy reliability on newer models. Had a 110E. Motor got confused after a few weeks. Kept spinning down and then up again. Avoid. Ask Justin at UGH if you have doubts.

Pioneer 444 from UGH would be my advice.

And with good reason..... Terrible reliability issues so cancelled all orders till toshiba sort it out. buy the Pioneer DV444 instead-est buy / editors choice under £300 in Home Entertainment, 5 star in What TV & Video! And at £180 in the bargain forums a steal.

Many forum members will testify how crap the new toshibas are compared to older models, and again will state how good the new Pioneer are. you pays your monies and takes your choices...

I can see a salesman a mile away, job well done, except

1) I was tempted by the Marantz 4100OSE until you updated the forum offers page to not include it any more :( Just that it was stretching me budget a bit much so had to think for a few more moments than the offer was on. Would have gone so much better with my KI Sig Amp and CD player.

2) I still would have like the details on the Excel-Sprinter modification, but the link is persistently broken.

Still trying to decide...
