Does anyone know if this will ever get released, I have had it on pre-order for 5 months at Play247! :(

Same for me at Blackstar until they gave up several months ago and cancelled all preorders.

According to the Doctor Who Technical Forum and other sources it has been indefinitely or permanently suspended from the release schedule because of clearance issues. Supposedly one of the actors involved didn't want it released, and somehow their contract still allowed them such a veto (what idiot drafted that one???). This would explain why Series 2 never got to VHS, either.

This is unreal, the second series was so cool!

We should hunt down whoever is blocking the release of this second series, have him capped and force him to be a slave for a big green blobby thing forever.

Does anyone know if Second Sight have a website/contact address?

I am going to get in touch with them, as they are/were supposed to be releasing it, they must know something!

Its just seems so ironic that whoever this Actor is is being very selfish and yet when UK Gold showed the Tripods they showed both series so I can not see why this actor could object to it being released on DVD unless it is one of those royality disputes or the usual red tape.
