Lord of The Rants

I saw this post on another board I can't confirm any of the following but its certainly interesting...
If you want to view ITV on Sky Digital, do the following...
1. Press "Services", "4", "4" You should now be in the Add channels menu.
2. Input the following data...
Frequency: 10.906
Polarity: V
Symbol rate: 22.0
FEC: 5/6
3. Press "Find Channels" and give it a few seconds. A list of funny named channels will then appear. If not check your above settings again. Each regional version has a different label and these can be found at www.digitalspy.co.uk/disp...hp?id=4136
4. The channel that UTV (Ulster Television) is under (for some strange reason) is labelled "R11 3-4" Go down to it and highlight it in yellow. Press the yellow button on the Sky Remote and press Select. The Receiver will then store the channel. Once that is done press Select to continue.
5. Press "Services" again and then press "6" for other channels. Select the channel R11 3-4 by highlighting it yellow and press select. You should now be watching UTV and be wondering what all the fuss is about Adrian Logan!
These are currently test transmissions being done by ITV before launcing properly on Sky Digital. BBC1 and BBC2 are already available on digital and UTV would also love to be part of it. BTW there is no teletext on this service I'm afraid. BBCNI can be tuned in a similar way.
Please note that after reading this I will be in no way responsible if you try the above and you totally chuff your Sky Digital system!
