just got a feeling, he will shine this year, Henry may have abit of an indifferent season with injuries and all.

Will Reyes not be in the 'Young Player' category? He has looked very sharp in the first couple of games.

Kezman, Henry, Drogba, Lampard, Gerrard and Routledge could all be up there :)

Drogba will flop. Its about time Chlsea relaised the best striker they have is Gudjohnsson (sp?)

Reyes / Defoe / Toure / Fabregas / Ronaldo for young player - depending on who qualifies and number of games played

Van Nistelrooy / Henry / Reyes / Gerrard / Lampard / Terry for player of the season

It depends on who wins the title. If Arsenal do it'll be Vieria or Henry. If Man Utd then Van Nistlerooy or the two trick pony. If Chelsea then either Drogba, Lampard or Terry.

If you dont win the title then you arent going to win the Player of the Year.

I was wondering about this the other week and apart from the usual contenders (VanNist..., Henry, Gerrard etc), Reyes was the one I thought of.

Also I had forgotten that Player of the Year is actually awarded for the calendar year isn't it ... so neither are likely to get it for just 3/4 months play !!!

bit early to say that about Drogba, but I think that Gudjohnsen's value has really been picked up on by Mourinho, and I was pleased to see him in the starting 11 on Sunday, and getting the winning goal. He was also the Sky MOTM for that game, so he seems to be getting his props.

I think it will be an Arsenal player, in which case Thierry Henry is a shoe-in. That said, I've a sneaking suspicion that Dennis Bergkamp is going to do extremely well this season.

Young player will be either Reyes or Ronaldo, depending on how well their respective teams do.

Deffo Defoe (!) for the young player, but I'd also throw in King Ledley too (but then I would wouldn't I).
