How do I extend the life of the yellow box you get whan you hover over a title on the DVD-Forums? (From the Alt= tab). I guess it's a reg-hack but can someone point me in the right direction?
Trouble is I'm not sure what they are called so searching is a bit difficult :(

I think it defaults to 5 seconds..

Are you talking about "tooltips" or "bubbletips"? If so, you can use the "printscreen" button (top right of your keyboard near the three little lights) then print it in Paint or whatever graphics manipulation program you have ie: Open program then Paste.

An alternative method, http://www.solidcapture.com/screen-capture.htm

I would have thought that in order to extend their time on screen you would need the Accessibility Options turned on (this is my best guess) as it seems the most likely place. It would also seem you need to look here on where in the registry they are stored: http://www.theeldergeek.com/notification_area_balloon_tips.htm

After some research: Most people wish to get rid of them. Not you though, Oh no. You want to extend them... you must be mad. Completely crazy I tell ya! :D It also looks like M$ removed the ability to turn them off. As in IE5 you had to go into OE5 and use the options within that program to stop them. :(

Well, it's just that since DVD Fourms now use the alt tab to summarise the start of the first post without going into the thread (a good idea imho) I find it's sometimes not possible to get to the end of the summary before it vanishes :(
