View Full Version : How hot should your gfx card get ?
As the title says really, I have a Radeon 9800 pro & it seems to get very hot. I`d say it gets as hot as a just brewed cup of tea/coffee(I touched it with my finger to test  ) Does this sound about the right temp? Is there a way of monitoring the gfx card temp?

Mine runs too hot, even with an arctic cooler. I keep getting artefacts on the screen and texture corruption in games. CPU temperature is 42 degrees, and system is 40 degrees... so it's not exactly hot in there.
Cpu temp on mine is 33 degres & mobo temp is 28 degrees. This is my second radeon9800 as the 1st one was artefacting after the 1st week of purchase & was exchanged with no quibbles(nice one Aria  ).

Mabye you could fit some case fans?
My 5900 runs cool enough (for a graphics card that is).
