It should be!

I had this machine and it played everything. This insides are based on an 'older' set of chips so there should be no problems.

I assume this is Richer Sounds? If yes then they'll take it back if you don't want it.

Yep, Richer Sounds. Had it for about 7monhts now, just never got round to trying an RCE disc with it.... (doubt they'd take it back though now - lol)... anyway, it seems to be fine for me... :) Hope RCE does work :)

I had one of these and although I never tried an RCE disk I`m certain it will work.

Although if you have your player set as multi region i.e. it will accept any region, you will need to change it to just accept region 1. (By pressing eject and typing 77 on the remote, giving you access to the hidden menus.))
