Want one to stick in a PS2 so not really bothered about how fast it is - but must be cheap..

Ebuyer flog a WD for <£50inc. but apparently they don't fit very well in the PS2, so that's no good. :dork:

Spotted any good deals elsewhere?

If you are sticking one in the PS2 you need to be careful as not all HDDs are compatible.

The recommended one to use is the one I got:

Maxtor Diamondmax Plus 9 120Gb 7200rpm 8mb Cache ATA133 - OEM

THIS (http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?rb=1189540358&action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=43152) one.

Better to be safe than sorry over a few quid.

There's a slightly cheaper Hard disk (Maxtor Diamondmax Plus 9 120Gb 7200rpm UDMA133 - OEM, model no:6Y120L0) ...

I bought that hard disk for my PS2, and it works fine. For more info on drives tested on a PS2, I found a useful website which helped me make a decision ... PS2 Hard Drives (http://ps2drives.x-pec.com/).
