Extending Wireless network

I've a quick question

I've got two networks in the house , one has a laptop accessing the network using wireless ( 3COM Access point).

Can I add an access point to the second network and and bridge between networks and still use the laptop.

You can if your AP supports bridging. It would probably be best to get one identical to your other AP or at least from the same manufacturer to ensure compatability. I know DLink say this feature only works with other Dlink APs.
