Hi.
I´ve got me a HECO (german) center speaker and its very nice one and has very good sound, chrystal clear but I´ve got a sheilding problem. At the manufactures site it says that this one is sheilded and also says the same both on box and in manual but still it seems its not. Can someone tell me if I have to get another center or is there a way to sheild the speaker myself?

this is the speaker: speaker is called "Heco Odeon 1/10"

Not really practical or economical to mag-shield a speaker yourself, cheaper to buy one that does the job properly.

What makes you think it's not mag-shielded as the specs certainly say it should be?

Ok, thanx, well, I´m getting these "moire" patterns at the top of the tv and it colorites it in all possible colors, mostly green.
This is when I place the speaker right on top of the telly.
If I place the speaker a bit further back and above the distrotion is gone. Really weird thing is, when I´ve moved the speaker to anywhere..the tv starts to show a pattern but if I then turn off/on the telly again the distortion is gone, accept when I place it right on top, then it doesnt help to restart the tv.
Yeah, I also find it weird that this is happening since it says everywhere that the speaker is sheilded. I´ve mailed "Heco" about this but I have not gotten a answer yet.

Maybe it just isn't shielded on the bottom of the speaker?

Simple solution is to not place it directly on top, surely?

Yeah..probebly your right but I dont know how to then..hm
guess I have to build a shelf or something to place the speaker on then. Maybe that would work..any suggestions?
At the moment I´ve got the center speaker like on top but "behind" the screen and I would like to be able to put it more to the front so the sound gets more nearer and better.
