rgb loopthrough problem...

have w/screen tv /sky +/panasonic vcr/dvd combi/philips dvd 880 recorder running on rgb loopthrough.switched the 880 with a philips dvdr 75 a newer model and rgb has disappeared on everything!no widescreen auto switching etc.any ideas? :thinking:

Have u checked that the 75 is set to output RGB ??, or that all the scarts are in firmly ?, or that they are in the right sockets?, perhaps Philips swapped the AV sockets round ??

yeah it's set to rgb.-weird.it's a multiregion model maybe that disables rgb. :?:

Multiregion shouldn't disable RGB, unless it is a poor fix. Was it a hack?, or did u buy it Multiregion/ get an upgrade disc ?

U haven't mistakingly swapped SCARTs on the back of your tv, & no longer using the RGB enabled one??
Or u don't have the VCR at the front of the queue - that ordinarily wouldn't pass RGB?

no,just removed the 880 and directly replaced with the 75-very weird-it was bought multiregion by the way.

Sounds like u are going to have to have a go a re-cabling.

Do u have rgb splitter connected, or are u just using the scart sockets available??

Have u checked the manual of the 75 to confirm it accepts RGB on both scarts??
