Does anyone know what DVD.co.uk's returns policy for non-faulty items is?

A couple of weeks ago, a friend ordered a couple of DVD box sets for a birthday present - and despite them being shipped last Monday they've still not arrived. Since the birthday is tomorrow (!) - she'd like to go and buy the box sets in town, then send back the ones from DVD.co.uk when (if) they arrive.

The website only mentions faulty returns - though there was a post on the forum about them accepting returns for late-delivered items during a postal strike. Does anyone know if this still applies?

Ta!

Phil.

Their website also refers to returning unwanted goods:

http://www.dvd.co.uk/faqs.asp (see "Returns")

and

http://www.dvd.co.uk/faq.asp (see "Cancellation")

You can cancel any purchase up to a maximum of seven working days after receipt of the goods, providing they are still sealed. So if you still haven't received the goods then you may still cancel the order. Simply follow the instructions on dvd.co.uk's website.

Yikes! I completely missed that. I was looking under the "returns" heading rather than the "cancellations" one, which must be why I didn't see it. Thanks very much for the info - i'll pass it on!
