Hey guys i been playing this quite a bit for the past month down my mates house on the PS2.

Its ripped the :suspect: out of Fifa 2003 and i love fotty games so much i caved and ordered this isntead of waiting for PES4........

I dont have a next gen console so had to get this for my PC

Anyway i just wanted to know if this is any diffrent on the pc and also are there any patches officale or unofficale that sort out the team names and rosters as that always annoyed me......... :razz:

Any extra teams, pitches stadiums or kits about ?? there was on Fifa ;)

Any one got any info ?

There are loads of good patches out there.

Try the forums on www.soccergaming.tv

I am banned from there for some reason. I never did anything wrong though, infact I dont think I posted at all :?:

Look for The Wolf patches or Wendetta.

Hope that points you in the right direction for now

I have the DJSaunders option file that corrects all the names, kits etc for the English Premiership and 1st Division clubs. Finally get to play Norwich, my team! It makes the game brilliant! If you can't find it, I can email it to you.

I don't think it plays as well as the PS2 version tbh due to the controls being slightly less responsive (this is with the ps2 analogue pad and various usb converters I've used).

But it looks so much better and is slightly easier to patch.

Best is to get your hands on WE7:I from somewhere - all the newest patches cover this one only and not Pro Evo 3 like The Wolf patch.

With the Pro Evo 3 patches, you may need to work out how to use PES Graphics Studio to update a few kits ;)

i couldn't even get it to work on either of my PCs, or my friends for that matter. so i sent it back.

It seems as though it's a very buggy game on the PC with lots of people not being able to get it to work. :doh: Others have found that it either runs to fast or to slow. There are a quite a few work arounds for the various problems but to be honest why should you need to. :shrug:

Can't decide which version to go for with PES4, whether to buy the PS2 version knowing that it will work, but name/kit updates etc aren't easy, or save almost half the price and go for the PC version again, hoping it's not going to be as buggy. :?:

Has anyone heard anything about being whether PES4 will be playable online?

Try Pesfan.com (http://www.pesfan.com/bulletin/index.html) for advice on getting the game running if your having problems. If the game doesn't work normally it's a case of deleting a single file, can remember which one but the info is on the website. They have links to the official patches as well as links to the unofficial kit/name/team ones. :thumbs:

Pro Evo 3 for the PC is amazing. But if only it had online play :(

Originally my copy was going back as I'd tried everything recommended on the various sites and forums to get it to load, and it just wasn't happening. Though it appeared to be running in the background when I went into Task Manager!

After a final, final, search i.e. before I contacted Play and boxed it up, I came across an obscure forum which mentioned that the game didn't really like Belkin products.

So I unplugged my Speed Pad and USB mouse, fired up PES 3, and it worked!

Sorry to be a bit vague on the names of the forums and sites, but it was a few months since I sorted the problem!
