 I know
I've also got an Ibanez Roadstar with a "cherry ice" paint job - very 80's very ugly :gag:
plus a 12 string acoustic, normal acoustic and a classical I inherited from me grandad
16 years worth though :D
I haven't finished yet though  just want that green burst USA Tele with maple neck and binding - it was that or the above and I thought this was the better option considering Fender's custom shop prices - it'll be a vintage that one I reckon :D
Love the new addition, Very Metallicay.
yeah, saw 'em on MTV the other week and Hetfield was using one. 10 years ago it would have been an Alpine White one ala James Dean Bradfield - but I dont think it's suit me now... getting old....
Very nice.

Ricky 330

I used to have the same curtains as you.....
.....oh and nice guitars!! A friend has an Antoria that looks exactly like your new Gibson.
I would've gone for the Ricky in sunburst a la Johnny Marr. Obviously you're more of a Beatles fan than a Smiths fan.

spare room you see, so they're teenage bedroom curtains in there

I'm both, but much more a Smiths fan than you would believe (well maybe you would) but you've spotted why I got the Ricky 330 - Derby Assembly Rooms 1984 on the beeb and the "This charming Man" Video
I have not been swayed........... honest :D

His fireglow is a 360 I believe, at least the the one he got off Townsend is and
Lennon used a 355 (solid body) - there was a signature model you could get:

How much was the new Gibby?
sir, I hate you. :D
And ibanez roadster eh? i used to have one of them, they had superb necks. Let me know if you ever want to sell it :D ;)

waited a long time for one though.

The neck on mine is a bit knacked now from using make shift capos years ago.
The locking trem needs sorting out and the input jack is a bit dodgy.
But is does have a nice untreated neck apart from that.
It is quite hideous though, here's a picture of the exact model and colour:

I forgot to upload the picture of it in the group shot to me web space last night :brickwall

 argghh my eyes.....
Ever thought of getting a sander to it?
 argghh my eyes.....
Ever thought of getting a sander to it?
Back in the early 90's I toyed with the idea of having it redone in white, but
the guy at the shop gave me some BS story about the finish of the guitar not being of a type that would allow it (or some crap like that - he couldn't do it basically)
So now its my circus freak side show dirty secret of a guitar (when I'm not telling people on a public forum about it  )
a pinch over 2 grand
Yikes... So are you just mad, or rich, or both? :cuckoo: :D
It is nice though. When are we gonna hear some sounds from it? :)

A mate of mine got a new one about 5 years ago. Very nice though his didn't have the spring reverb that you get in the Twin :luv:

Yeah you need to have some webspace that you can upload your pics to then
you can display the image off the web.
I don't have my own but a mate of mine has kindly given me an account on his web server
here's a couple of sound samples aimless rock/bluesy lead stuff and something bordering on poodle rock :suspect:
