Not a great bargain if you are happy to buy on-line, but for those who like to just pop in and buy PC World (http://tracker.tradedoubler.com/pan/TrackerServlet?p=1078&a=60823&g=19560) had a couple of good prices when I popped in this morning:
Samsung 7200RPM 2mb cache 160Gb HDD - £69.30
256Mb PC3200 DDR Dimm - £32
On a slightly different note, I was in after a cheap PSU after the fan on my 2nd PC died meaning if I do more than surf the web it overheats. PC World were as useless as I expected so I popped into Savastore and picked up a 400w jobbie for £13.51 (incl. VAT). Not a great price, but I was surprised to find it had a pass-thru for the power (ie. you can plug the monitor in through the PC rather than on a seperate plug). Haven't seen one of these for a while so I thought it might be of interest to someone.
