Is Family Guy R2 only?

Anyway can only find R2 available. Will there be/has there already been an R1 release?

there's just the R2 release coming up any time soon. i think cause of some laws in america they have to wait a long time before they can release a TV show on video.

It's likely that the US rights are locked into syndication.
