View Full Version : exorcist 2 on uk sci-fi tonight at 10
cheers, been meaning to watch this for ages (John Boorman?) I liked deliverance and excalibur so I'll give it a go.
Dammit I meant to watch this too but the DVD i was watching hadn't finished in time, I've heard it's bad anyway but wouldn't mind seeing it
I watched it for the 1st time tonight and my general impression is 'what a mad film!' in a good way :D
I have to say I really enjoyed it! It's not at all scary but has so much interesting stuff in it.
Also can someone answer a question I have:
In the final shot, Louise Flectcher has the strobe light from that gadget on her face (but she is outside the now fallen house). Does this indicate that all that has happened has not really happened? - or am I reading far too much into the shot?
Just seems too much of statement not to mean anything!

Been curious about this film for many years.
Now i've seen it and it's as bad as i've been told.
It takes everything the first film created and then beats it to death with a mighty stick of dumbness.
Worth watching though to see Richard Burton with a flashing light bulb on his head.
( The Sci fi channel must be doing a 'John Boorman dodgy early 70's too much drugs season' because Zardoz was on Sunday. )
