My inkjet printer, an epson photo 750, is slowly dying on me and I was thinking of buying a colour laser printer to replace it. The main one i was looking at is the Epson aculaser 900, but also have my eye on the samsung with 150 quid cashback. The question is: are they any good :?:

I am interested to know if they are good for reproducing photos but I've heard opinions ranging from don't even bother trying, to, they are almost as good as the best inkjets. So which is it?? Right now I've been using my inkjet for all sorts from printing reports with photos etc. to printing full page digital photos, but apart from costing me a fortune, it's slow and constantly clogging up.

thanks for any help

running a colour laser (even the newer cheaper ones) will cost an even bigger fortune to run!
best bet is a new inkjet - the forums fave is the canon i865 at the moment. superb machine.

Slightly cheaper and also slightly cheaper to run is the Canon i560, which is still an utterly stunning printer.

the epson c84 gives superb results. Laser is not the way to go for home use, unless you won weds nights jackpot?
