try the Plantronics DSP300 or higher (I think they have a DSP400, DSP500 and possibly DSP600).
They are pretty good quality stereo headset mic's with built in USB sound circuitry - you can plug them into pretty much any windows PC with a USB port and it will give you a reasonable/good sound :)
Are you sure you don't have a headphone/mic sockect on your PC anywhere?
i ask as most (if not all) modern PC's have a soundcard of some sort even if it only has the ports at the back

Buy the Speedlink Medusa 5.1 headphones with built-in microphone £40 from Play. Supurb sound quality and just made for your Audigy2.
They have a built in amp so they connect straight to your sound card. An audigy 2 has all the correct outputs.

There's a thread about them on the bargain forums.

An audigy will definately have a microphone input - you're not looking hard enough! They're usually pink, whilst the headphone socket is green.
I have a pair of Logitech USB 30's they work as a mike/headset combo from any USB port so are ideal for the laptop and MSN etc. The audio and pickup quality is excellent.
Head sets? Sets? For your head?
