Looking for a new C&C clone to play and saw this in the shops. Anyone played it, is it any good?

Got it the other day and played the first few levels - it is really nicely presented and the UI is easy to pick up. A few minor niggles with some in game AI - but it doesn't detract from a fun RTS than I am enjoying. Probably rates a 7.5 out of 10.
It is pretty good, there is no resource collecting though.
The original is available for free download from file planet.
I bought the original GC+expansion pack from play.com for £4.99 this week.
Far better than the recent Perimeter which I found to be absolutely dreadful - I'd give it 8/10
It's good, but I think the first was a better game. I'm only a little way in but I'm not quite as wowed graphically by this one as I was with the last too.
