I'm thinking about getting these from SVP for my canon i865. Are they any good compared to the originals???

I've had refills in the past and i wasn't impressed by them.

I've been using them for around a month now and have no complaints, although I have yet to try them with photos.
I got some from inkfactory as they were bogof.

I,ve used the Jet tec range from www.theinkfactory.co.uk with no problems on my Epson Stylus Photo 895. I hope this is of some use to you.

i used to use them on my Epson 600 I found them to be the best of the compatables, but wouldn't dream of using anything other than originals on my new c84. after all whats the point in using a Photo quality printer with inferior inks that will possibly be less light fast.

Thats what i thought, but everyone in the i865 thread on the bargain forums seems to rate them (although no-one has mentioned photos).

So anyone know where to get cheap original canon inks :)

If it helps, I've surveyed the factory where these are made on behalf of my employers.

I left very impressed with the standards of cleanliness and their QC systems.

They claim to source their inks from the same place the manufacturers do and they've never had any problems with chipped cartridges.

Been using Jet Tecs on my i865 and photos are excellent, they also give a good warranty and are made in the UK in Boston.

PS dont buy from the ink factory they are really expensive at £8.88 for 2 as SVP charge £1.80 each !!

I used Jet tecs in my epson photo 870 and found the rusults to be good, but compared to original carts, they were nowhere near as good.

Now I have my R300, I wouldn't put anything but orignials in, even though I can get the Jet Tecs for £2.75 each :(
