I know this has already been brought up before but I've searched back 12 pages and still can't find a relevant thread, so sorry for treading over old ground.

I've recently got into Manga films, particularly inspired by their visual style. can anyone suggest any decent films or TV series to sink my teeth into? So far I've seen and got Perfect Blue, Blood: The Last Vampire (I prefered Blood to PB but both excellent films) and the classic Street Fighter II :). I'm also awaiting Princess Monononoke should it ever arrive!
So what others are worth watchng?

Don't even think of suggesting Pokemon

Digimon :D

seriously though......Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Ninja Scroll are classic titles that you may want to look at

I'm a big fan of sailor moon, but then I'm sad

Akira, Ghost In The Shell, Grave Of The Fireflies, Ninja Scroll, Samurai X: Trust/Betrayal.

There are many more, but I have only seen the above, and they are all excellent. (Especially GOTF).

I'd also recommend Neon Genesis Evangelion (if you don't mind collecting a whole series), not the best animation ever (particularly towards the end) but story wise it is excellent, though be prepared to think a bit and get a little confused.

Thanx for the replies :)
I'll find out more about those films and series and set my credit card loose on the shops again :)
