Based solely on your review, I ordered this from Play on Friday. I love a good horror flick, and your reviews seem to be pretty spot-on so far. :)

I'd be careful with this one if i were you. It falls into the love it /hate it category of dvd's.
Personally I thought it was a waste of space.

I agree with the previous poster although I wouldn't go as far as to say hate it :)

Just use the review as an alternative view on the film as the R2 disc is nowhere near as good as the R1 SE extras-wise.

I thought Ginger Snaps was great apart from the last 5 mins or so.Deffinitely love hate oh and the monsters abit crap,and the ending doesnt work and the xtras are at best ropey apart from that go 4 it as they say!;) ;)

I just go it today, and i loved it!

I really do think it is great, not the best movie ever but an enjoyalbe horror with great acting (i think).

Can someone explain to me about the mum, im really stupid....what was....whatever, could you explain? thanks.

not quite sure what you're referring to here, but if its anything to do with what exactly happens to her character then just watch the Deleted Scenes where you'll get an idea of what was meant to happen to her...whereas in the actual film her character is left pretty much unresolved (which is one minor fault the film has) and will certainly be in for a shock when she arrives home :)

I got it now i watched the deleted scenes....all of the police sub plot was cut out. Sorry, i thought that maybe the mum had something to do with the werewolfness, like she knew about it cus she seemed keen to get the girls out of town, and not that worried that she found a dead body.....! oh well.
