View Full Version : Where is the best place to look for deleted DVD's
Does anybody know where I can look for a disc that has been deleted that I want.
It's a chubby one but not in any shops or online, but Amazon.co.uk. said it was out October 2000 and deleted recently.
Anybody help with this.
Thanks
Keith.

Overweight DVD's, thats a new one. :p
Or maybe its just baby fat.:D
www.blackstar.co.uk have a video/dvd hunt area - find the dvd you are after and if its deleted it will tell you they can search for it for you.
Hope this helps

Try Amazon's Zshops (http://s1.amazon.co.uk/exec/varzea/subst/home/fixed.html/026-9918057-8149242) section
or Ebay.
Problem with Blackstar is for VHS they charge you about £15 no matter what condition it's in. Dunno about DVD though.

It's £17 per tape. Which means if it's a two-tape set it's normally going to be £34. And so on. The price includes postage to you, anywhere in the world.
To be fair, they give you the chance to specify if you only want a mint-condition tape, so you don't have to pay that kind of money if you're not sufficiently desperate to be prepared to own a copy of something in any condition.

Their corresponding charge for a "DVD Hunt" is £28 per disc.
In either case, if they never find it, you never pay anything, no matter how long they look for. You need to renew your hunt details at least every three months. (Once they find an item you are currently listed as hunting you are contracted to take it, of course...but they do accept returns even after that within 30 days if you can't live with the thing!).

Look on EBay, that’s the main place Blackstar will look.
What are you after BTW? One of us may have it or know where you can find it.

Just curious where you get such information that you can speak with such authority, that's all...
