View Full Version : Ant inside my LCD !!

Guys,

I've got an ANT inside my LCD as I can see it on sreen crawling about. I thought it was on top of the screen at first but it isn't. I've tried to kill it by using the "dead pixel" technique but nothing ain't working. It's really annoying me...It's starting to crawl across this message...HELP !! How do I kill it !!

fantastic, I had a small bug wandering around the inside of my p800 yesterday, it seems to have vanished today ,aybe you're ant will leave too. Failing that find a pic of an anteater and chase it with that?

the psu pics would've been more interesting if he'd turned the computer on first. and he had a metal bladed fan :D

Seriously though, like someone else said you might be best leaving it alone and it'll probably be gone tomorrow.

Not mine really :D. The pics have been doing the rounds on the net for ages, but they're claimed to be fake anyway (rubber snake probably).

isnt that where the term (computer) bug originated anyway? back in the day with the old/huge computers, bugs getting inside causing problems :dork:

I had some sort of tiny flea type thing in an SLR camera viewfinder - it appeared when I was in the tropics and stayed there literally for years. Haven't used it for a long time and for all I know it's still there. I hope your ant isn't as long lived - perhaps if you leave a dob of jam next to the laptop it might lure it out... :)

My laptop got this last year in the garden except it was about 6 midges :nuts:

They eventually leave though, or die.
