Has anyone seen this?
Looks really interesting.
I know its a sequel but seems to have had better critical praise than the first film. Is it even connected to the first film? (which I've not seen either).
Basically any comments anyone?!
cheers

I want to see this also but im not sure whether to get the HK release or the actual Korean release, DDDHouse have the HK for just over a fiver but the Korean version costs £17 from *********
(or around 17 from dvdasian.com also)

anyone seen either version?

The ********* version (spectrum) says it's enhanced for 16:9. The DDDHouse version (Mei Ah) says it's 4:3.

Bedford seems we have the same dilemma! I've emailed ********* to ask them exactly which version they are stocking (I don't want to order the 'spectrum' release at £16.99 only to find that the 'Mei Ah' release from HK is actually the same and way cheaper!)

Mei Ah discs from HK aint generally the best that are made, sometimes the subs are even burnt in on the dvds, i wish it was a universe release from HK as i would get that as they usually letterbox their discs regardless.

ive looked on a couple of sites now and the Mei Ah does indeed seem full screen, so im gonna save and get the korean disc.

And doesnt it look a most intriguing movie....

yeah, I've had a good look too (dvdasian.com has cover scans of both versions!)
The (Korean) Spectrum disc seems the only one worth getting.
Do you think ********* is an ok price? I can't seem to find it cheaper from the e-tailers I know of.

and it does indeed seem very intriguing! I first read about it when "memento" was released last year and "Memento Mori" came up in a title search at Imdb! Will be great to finally see it.

Either ********* or dvdasian are the same, it is cheaper at dvdasian but the $6 for shipping brings the price back in line to the £17 mark, but if you dont like and think of a good excuse you can return it to dvdasian and get a full refund (i actually got more refunded then i spent in total when i return 1 disc) if i find a cheaper place i'll post here.

I posted a review on this back in March (before the hack I think so it must have dropped off by now).

Can't comment on the disc but the film is quite good, with a spooky atmosphere and reasonable acting. It could be edited better though because it jumps back and forth a lot which I found a little confusing.

There's a personal touch to the film since one of the directors had a girlfriend who commited suicide which may explain the introspective feel to the film.

By no means a great film, but watchable.
