View Full Version : Bangai-O, argh!

Decided to dig out my Dreamcast today, and dust off a few games. Popped in Bangai-O, determined to get past level 25 that I'd been stuck on when I last played it ages ago.

After reading a few tips, I defeated the boss quite easily (never thought that would be possible), and for the rest of today I've played all the way through to level 44... which is just completely unfair. I spent 8 or so minutes getting all the way to the boss, only to be destroyed within about 3 seconds by him.

How can a game be so cruel yet so addictive at the same time! :brickwall

Look on the bright side, at least running through the levels again (and again and again) is still rather fun. The same can't be said of a lot of games. I'm being driven particularly insane at the moment by mis-timed jumps near the end of levels in Indiana Jones and the Engine of Buffy.

YES! YES! I DID IT!

Does this mean I've risen to a new higher plane of existance as a gamer?
